For Donald and Katherine, the building of their family house was building a footbridge between generations, which has since then turned to a solid foundation. From them, to their children, their grandchildren, and so on until the house is of legends, passed from parent to child faithfully through time. A place with family traditions, a home where kith and kin may gather, their grandchildrens home away from home, full of customs particular to their own lands, this manor they have built has become a valued retreat to their family, and out of respect, wish to share its serenity and peaceful calmness with those who wish for such things as these. |

Parlor - Sophisticated in shades of champagne, the parlor brings the true spirit of the Victorian culture's passion for the sociable to vivid life in this room. With the comfortable revival furniture, it is quite simple to become at ease and while away the hours by conversing with friends, family, or getting to know people. |

The library with its hundred leather bound, gilded paged classics, waiting to be read, as well as maps and history on the surrounding local Yosemite and Stanislaus National Park areas. With an outlook on the setting sun, shimmering on the vale, golden lights can be seen through the leaves as you flip the pages of Jane Eyre, or Ivanhoe, comfortable and secure. |

The Billiard Room decorated with military memorabilia stands as a lasting tribute to all those who have served in the United States Military, and highlights those in our family who served their country. Over a game of pool, one can meet friends and share laughter under the benign eyes of former protectors of our beloved land. |

One of the jewels of the Manor, the Dining Room holds in its hand, a beautiful mural of Yosemite Valley, painted by renowned artist and family friend, Randy O Dell. Painted in warm, golden tones, the walls give a sense of comfort, while overhead, the ceiling reflects the mood of the sky, its beaming humor, its tempest tossed tears, and its loving nature to man. |

During the summer months, |
Looking out from the veranda into the shadowed, mysterious vale, warm sunlight shining through the leaves, turning them into exquisitely crafted emeralds; at dawn and twilight, the Fairy folk wending their stately way in lighted procession through the tree boughs, and at midnight, the moon casting dappled light onto the leaf strewn floor of the vale. |
